Luckily, there's a quick fix in the menu for alternative controller layouts, which are closer to genre standards. The gun doesn't auto-aim or stay positioned in the middle of the screen, and players can go down with a single bullet. Insurgency: Sandstorm sets itself apart from some of the best first-person shooters with more realistic gun mechanics.
